By using tlanow.com (“the Site”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. TLANOW reserves the right to update these terms at any time; continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. What TLANOW is

TLANOW is an informational platform that helps U.S. military personnel find TLA-eligible housing in the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC), Germany. We are an independent service and are not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Defense, any military branch, or any official housing office.

3. No guarantees on listings

Property listings on TLANOW are provided for informational purposes. We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or TLA eligibility of any listing. Always verify TLA approval with your housing office before booking. TLANOW is not a party to any rental agreement between you and a property owner.

4. Landlord accounts

Landlords may create accounts to claim and manage their property listings. By claiming a listing, you confirm that you are authorized to represent the property. TLANOW reserves the right to approve, reject, or remove any claim or listing at its sole discretion.

5. No financial advice

The TLA calculator and eligibility checker are tools to help estimate allowances. They are not official DoD guidance. Always consult your finance office for official TLA determinations.

6. Prohibited use

You may not use the Site to:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent property information.
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute listings without permission.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site.
  • Harass or impersonate other users or TLANOW staff.

7. Limitation of liability

TLANOW is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TLANOW is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Site, reliance on listing information, or interactions with property owners.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate federal or state courts.
