TLANOW (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates tlanow.com, a housing search platform for U.S. military families seeking Temporary Lodging Allowance (TLA) accommodations in the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC), Germany. We are not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Defense.

  • Email address and name — when you sign up for our newsletter or PCS checklist.
  • Account information — if you create a landlord account, we collect your email address via Clerk, our authentication provider.
  • Usage data — we log clicks on outbound property referral links (property ID and timestamp only; no personal data).
  • Device and browser data — collected automatically by Vercel (our hosting provider) for performance and security purposes.

3. How we use your information

  • To send you the PCS checklist or housing updates you requested.
  • To operate the landlord portal and property claiming system.
  • To measure which properties attract the most interest (aggregate analytics only).
  • To improve the platform and fix issues.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We retain your email address and name until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Referral click logs are retained for up to 12 months. Landlord account data is retained until the account is deleted.
